Diamond Tipped Microdermabrasion

A revolutionary treatment, the diamond tipped microdermabrasion machine uses diamond tips to perform skin exfoliation. During the treatment, the microdermabrasion tip, covered with tiny diamonds is placed on the skin surface to clean the pores and at the same time loosening the dead skin cells before suctioning them off as in the traditional microdermabrasion procedure. The suction also stimulates blood flow to the skin and cleanses the skin pores. Besides, the increased blood flow also stimulates collagen production and improves skin’s elasticity. As such, the skin's complexion is instantly revived with a healthy glow and younger skin.

What is Microdermabrasion used for?

By controlling the diamond tips, we can achieve anything from a gentle buffing of the skin to deeper exfoliation.

How many treatments are recommended and how soon will you see the results?

Age and skin condition determine the number of treatments required to achieve the maximum effect. For most common skin conditions, a minimum of six treatments is usually required and you will notice improvement in both the skin texture and its appearance after the very first session.

How long does the treatment take?

Each treatment takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the area.

Are there any restrictions on my activity after Microdermabrasion treatment and are there any side effects?

You should avoid extremely hot baths, saunas and heavily perfumed products because once the top layer of skin is exposed, any extremes of temperature or anything applied to the skin may cause extra sensitivity. Following treatment there may be a slight reddening of the skin and tenderness, depending on the part of the body treated and depth of treatment.

How does Microdermabrasion compare with other skin peeling treatments?

Unlike chemical peels which utilize acids or laser ablative peels, Microdermabrasion is a safe, mechanical process of skin exfoliation that respects the integrity of skin tissue and minimizes trauma.
